HousingIT Limited has been formed principally to build, sell and support an Integrated Housing Management System (IHMS) application for small to medium RSL's in the UK. The software will be delivered using a ‘Software as a Service’ (SaaS) model.

The functionality will encompass all of the standard requirements of a housing provider, providing for the management of estate management, lettings, rents, repairs etc as well as modules to handle complaints, housing advice and anti-social behaviour.

Our service will reflect the needs of today’s marketplace as a starting point. We will provide a pre-configured to best practice SaaS model which will enable end-users to see exactly what they receive for their IT spend. It will provide a common, intuitive, interface across all systems (an industry standard Microsoft look and feel) and unparalleled integration between functional areas.

Technology has changed the expectations of citizens, front-line staff and businesses. The Digital Native generation demands instant access to services that are shaped around their needs.

Traditional players  retain their large legacy applications, developed in pre-Internet technologies, which they have struggled to modify in light of each new technological development (i.e the move from character to windows to Web look-and-feel). Such systems will find it difficult to migrate to a new technology and/or delivery channel, such as SaaS, which depends upon applications being ‘web-native’.

The HousingIT application HousingPoint is a Microsoft .Net application, developed using the eFormStudio RAD (rapid application development) tools from IEG4 Limited*, in conjunction with RSL (registered social landlords) partners and ex-practitioners and consultants (Chartered Institute of Housing professionals) with decades of experience of running Housing departments and developing Housing products.
